Friends of Gordon Park, Wanganui Start Date: 9am - Tuesday, May 14, 2013 End Date: 12 noon - Tuesday, May 14, 2013 Meet at Gordon Park Scenic Reserve, corner of No. 3 Line and Kaimatira Road, the 2nd Tuesday morning (9 am-noon) and 4th Saturday afternoon (1-4 pm) each month. The main targeted weeds are the widespread Jerusalem cherry, stinking iris, green cyperus (Cyperus eragrostis) and karaka, plus any other scattered woody weeds, arums, windmill palm. We also gather rubbish and, In season, gather seed for growing on and do restoration planting and produce, through DOC, a newsletter.
