Become a coastal Weeding Warrior

This event is part of Conservation Week 2018 - www.doc.govt.nz/conservationweek

What: Learn a little more about the different plants found around our coastlines while doing your bit to help biodiversity – by ridding the dunes of invasive ice-plant. All weeding warriors will be rewarded for their efforts with a well-earned BBQ. Be sure to bring water and appropriate clothing for the weather. This event will go ahead unless rain is heavy and persistent.

Where: Meet in the carpark outside the Mercury Bay Boat Club, 90 Buffalo Beach Rd, Whitianga
