Maungawhau-Mt Eden Weedbusting

Friends of Maungawhau is a small volunteer group, working mainly on the western and southern slopes of Maungawhau/Mt Eden in cooperation with the Tūpuna Maunga Authority.

Friends of Maungawhau gather every Tuesday 0930 at top of Batger Rd, Mt Eden, and work until 11:30am or 12pm. Dress as for gardening with long sleeves, long pants, strong shoes for the steep, stony terrain.

We also have a Saturday morning group, which meets once a month to do weeding, planting and basic nursery work.

We welcome new volunteers to join us on Tuesdays and/or Saturdays.
