Maungawhau-Mt Eden Weedbusting
Tuesday 19 January – Friday 2 July 2021, 9:30am – 12:30pm
Friends of Maungawhau gather every Tuesday 0930 at top of Batger Rd, Mt Eden, Auckland to work on eco-restoration on Maungawhau-Mt Eden, usually removing a range of weeds. Dress as for gardening with long sleeves, long pants, strong shoes for the steep, stony terrain. Gloves, tools, hi-vis vests provided. We work till about 1200-1230 with morning tea at 1100. Our preference is for locals who may become regulars, but anyone is welcome.
