The Lake Hawea Thursday group is still going strong - now for about the 22nd year! We’re constantly keeping the foreshore clear of exotic weeds (including trees), and replanting the area with mainly native plants and some shade trees. The group works between March and November each year, and the Coordinator, Di, has got the Council on board and caused development such as car parks, picnic tables, barbecues and post-and-rail fences to be constructed in appropriate places. Our foreshore is looking better than ever!
