Outsanding and consistent effort in removal of weeds on several Council reserves in the Whau river catchment area, working alonside the community in each resrve area. Developing restoration plans to prevent weeds returning on large areas in our whau river reserve areas. Significantly encouraging Te Ngahere to volunteer their time to work with FOW to achieve weed control and Kurt Brehmer Walkway Reserve, this is a great outcome for council and so I am pleased to be associated with this group as their Council contact.
