Our trust is busting weeds at Marahau near the entrance to Abel Tasman National Park. We mostly tackle old man’s beard, blackberry, barberry, Himalayan honeysuckle and a bit of gorse as part of the wetland restoration work we are doing. A big challenge for us in the coming year will be the poisoning and removal of large numbers of willow trees from the Otuwhero Stream.
