The Peka Peka Dunes Restoration Group is based at Peka Peka Beach on the Kapiti Coast. As part of our dune restoration we are working at removing common dune weeds and exotic plants, for example, lupin, ragwort, sheep sorrel, fleabane, climbing dock, agapanthus, boneseed, boxthorn, and so on.
We do this with a spraying programme arranged through the Wellington Regional Council and hand weeding
